Insulele Feroe sunt un grup de insule în partea nordică a Oceanului Atlantic, între Scoția, Norvegia și Islanda. Sunt o regiune autonomă a Regatului Danemarcei din 1948 și, de-a lungul anilor, au preluat controlul asupra majorității problemelor de stat, exceptând relațiile externe, justiția, apărarea.
